Design Hypothesis
Reasoning behind the position of the Design and it's shape.
Vector Lines are pointing in the direction of 3 specific points that create a intersecting center point. to Give the lines a magnitude based on it's relevance, a circular grid is made. Another grid is added to portray the design's objective to collect or simply suck in information. The Vector Lines are then offset to create fields that become potential spaces.

The Matrix
Represents the likely Spaces with their square footage and probable connection.
Red indicates the spaces must be close in proximity
Blue indicates the spaces should be close in proximity
Green indicates it would be nice to have close in proximity
Bubble Diagram
Represents the Matrix in a visual manner
Size of the text in a Bubble and its stroke represent their relevance compared to the others
Stroke of the Line represent the relevance of connection
Filled Lines represent a connection between the spaces
Hallow Lines represent a possible connection between spaces

The Images above are GIF images that change gradually to present a specific study of the building. Note that the studies are what I perceive and assume to be true for the buildings.
Based on these studies I've established some basic knowledge of space organization for Research Facilities and what king of spaces are most likely required.
Building Typology
1. Which building typology are you researching?
Educational, Research and Science Facilities
2. Why are you researching this building typology?
Interest in education, research and sciences that ultimately
are the insights into human surroundings and even beyond. The advance in research and findings provide
for better solutions to the problems we face today.
3. What is the specialty of this building type you would like to research?
Research Centers and Scientific Centers in any area of expertise
pertaining to sciences and technology.
4. What are the examples that you will be researching:
California academy of sciences
Architect: Renzo Piano
Maryland Science Center
Architect: Edward Durrell Stone
CEIG Testing & Assessment Research Center Proposal
Architect: LYCS Architecture
Center for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research Proposal
Architect: Henning Larsen Architects
Phaeno Science Center
Architect: Zaha Hadid
Perimeter Institute
Architect: Saucier + Perrotte (2004), Teeple Architects (2011)
Biosciences Research Building
Architect: LYCOS
Salk Institute
Architect: Louis Khan
Champalimaud Centre for the Unknown
Architect: Charles Correa Associates
Maritime Museum and Science Centre
Architect: Cobe + Transform
5. What are your goals for working with this building type?
To develop a structure that integrates the surroundings to
its advantage. That will in turn provide large amounts of energy for the sustainability of the structure.
6. What are the program elements that you see included at this point in Your building?
